I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Octopus Energy (London, England) in May 2021
Interview
First a call from instant impact to talk through the role, the person who calls you is with you throughout the process, I had Aasimah and she was so helpful!
Then you have a Skype mini interview, very friendly and relaxed. Then if you progress you are invited to a discovery day, it’s about 3 hours of activities, a short 1:1 interview and a Q&A session.
Just get stuck in and enjoy it, it’s so well organised and fun!! I loved it. The time flew by.
Then if you progress again, there a short casual interview/chat with admin. Again really relaxed, and just had a nice chat about the job- at the end of this I was offered a role.
The interview isn’t difficult If you are committed to putting the work in, I spent days researching the company and prepping, I was well prepared and the more I learnt about the company the more I wanted to be part of the team!

I interviewed at Octopus Energy (Leicester, England)
Interview
Took about a month, from first interview to last stage. Was a draining experience as felt like a part time job in its self. Unfortunately didn’t get offered the job, wouldn’t have felt so bad if I didn’t get so far into the process. I understand they wanted the right candidate but to get to a stage 6 roughly of an interview process to say no felt disheartening.

Interview
Long interview process. Was done over a few different days. It was a good experience but I just thought it didn’t need to be so long winded considering the salary and job role. However seems like a great company to work for.
