There are several stages to the interview process for the energy specialist role at Octopus. You'll have an initial chat with a member of the Instant Impact team (I had Tayla, who was fantastic throughout!). You are sent mathematical and verbal reasoning/ability tests which you have to complete. These are relatively easy but require a little bit of brushing up on basic skills that you might have forgotten. There's then an interview with your member of the Instant Impact team which is all very friendly and for which you receive useful feedback. If successful, you are invited for a 'Discovery Day', which is all about evaluating your teamwork capabilities, ability to think quickly, and just a general evaluation of whether you'd be a suitable candidate for the role. Tayla was great and advised me throughout this process. There are several aspects; a customer service task, a research task, and an interview with an Octopus employee, with a Q&A too with other members of the team too. You then have a final interview with an employee at the office to which you're applying, which again is very relaxed and friendly. I was then offered the job a the end of the interview. Overall, it's quite an intense process with many stages, but you're talked through everything by your Instant Impact partner and it's a lot less daunting than it seems.
