The initial conversation was with a member of the Instant Impact team (Tayla, who is an absolute star) who then gave me a brief video interview and set me up with some numerical and verbal reasoning tests. These were admittedly harder than I thought but with a little revision and a calculator it was very doable, and Tayla got back to me the same day I took the tests to let me know I'd passed and I was on to stage 2, which is the discovery day. This was like an online assessment day with team tasks, research elements, and a 1-2-1 interview at the end. The whole thing lasted around 3 hours. Tayla let me know I was successful the next day and the final stage was a video interview with two members of the Leicester team which was, of course, daunting but if you're well prepared it's a breeze. They got back to me that evening telling me I'd got the job! Everyone within Octopus and Instant Impact I spoke to was so lovely and really wanted to know that this job would be right for me as well as me being right for the job. Long process but you get out what you put in.
