I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Octopus Energy in Oct 2021
Interview
The interview process to job offer took around 1 week. I started off with a informal telephone call with Aasimah who was really helpful and gave me a lot of information regarding Octopus. I then was invited to a video call with her where I gave information about my previous roles and challenges that I was faced with. Aasimah explained at the end of this I was required to take an English and Maths test and cannot stress this enough to prepare for these as it may have been a while since completing some of these since school. After completing this, I was invited to a Discovery Day with Octopus where I met other candidates for Digi Ops and Energy Specialist roles as well as amazing staff who filled us in about Octopus and their ideology. We were presented with Customer Service scenarios and a research task before heading into a Q&A session and 121 interview with a member of Octopus. After completing this, I found out the next day I had been invited to a final interview where they see your CV for the first time and at the end of the day was offered a position with the company. Aasimah and the whole team at Octopus were very informative and cannot wait to get started.
