The interview had a few different stages. Firstly, an initial call with Egle from Instant Impact to give you an early insight into what Octopus are looking for as well as some tips to best prepare you for the next stages. Next was an online Literacy and Numeracy Test which could be completed in your own time. The Maths one was quite difficult so make sure you scrub up before taking the test! (resources provided) A few days later there is a Discovery Day which is essentially a 3 hour long zoom call. You get to speak to people from all different areas of the business throughout the day. I found this really enjoyable because you got a wide range of opinions. As well as this there were points throughout the day that we were put into smaller breakout rooms to complete some tasks with an assessor. At the end there was a 1-1 interview with another assessor as well as a Q+A. This was a great opportunity to really get to know the business from the people that worked there.
