I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Office Depot (Austin, TX) in Oct 2012
Interview
Standardized questions read from basic script used in most retail operations. Nothing really exceptional regarding questions. The interview was casual, relatively stress-free, and took approximately 20-30 minutes. In my interview the Store Manager had me do a role-play in which he was the customer and I was the sales person. I wish all companies did things like this in order to keep the best people on the sales floor.
