Hiring was described as formal and somewhat grueling 30-45 mins situational prompts intended to display my ability to sell a stapler, how to handle impossible situations.... However, my actual experience involved a Store Manager who had to excuse himself over 4 times to assist on the register and two employees walked into the office and held casual conversations with the Store Manager. I was not given a chance to showcase my skills or give examples of my accomplishment or qualifications. To my recollection, he never picked up my resume or even opened the folder.

Two interviews. First with store manager about previous experience. The second interview was conducted by a different store manager with "what if" questions. After, they told me they would get back to me after a background check. Received phone call about a week later with offer.

I was called very briefly after I had submitted my application. The hiring manager and I agreed upon an interview date. I showed up on time, but had to wait for a rather long time. This is not the norm, but I was hired in a special store that receives visits from senior management frequently. I was interviewed by an additional member of senior management which was not expected. Again this is not the norm. The interview lasted between 30 - 45 minutes. I was interviewed only once and received a generous offer on the spot.
