I applied for the position through LinkedIn and was contacted shortly after by a recruiter to schedule a phone screen. I replied with availability but she never responded. The day/time (down to the minute) in which I’d said I was available, she sent an email apologizing for the delay and asked if an alternate day/time would work. I promptly replied and said yes, asking her to confirm. She never confirmed, never responded, and never called. I no longer have interest in working for Office Depot, particularly in an HR capacity; as I feel how they treat candidates speaks volumes of how they likely view and treat people internally.
