I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Office Depot (Austin, TX) in Jun 2014
Interview
I applied online and almost immediately was called in for an interview the following day. The hiring manager told me that he had scheduled me in for the afternoon at three, without any notice. I made it to the site 10 minutes early and had to wait 30 mins for the hiring manager to see me. While I was waiting the people there were friendly, albeit unenthusiastic. It appears as the people who work there don't enjoy it as much. We went into his office and he asked me three simple questions. I asked him several. Anyways I left him my resume and that was that. I didn't hear from them again but that's fine they were only offering 10.00 an hour and I just got hired at a base of 13.00 an hour plus salary.

Question 1
He only asked three questions, so the most difficult would be "What was your previous work experience like"

Interview
Not bad - it went better than expected for me. It was not too hard or easy - just prepare and practice before you enter. Also just go over what you want to say as well.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself.
Why do you want to work here.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Office Depot (Fayetteville, GA) in Oct 2014
Interview
Me and the manager kept in touch for weeks until the interview. However, on the day of the interview, he neglected to tell me that he went out of town and he never told anyone that I was coming in. Because of that, the employee who ended up interviewing me didn't have my information like my resume and application and it was a waste of time. After that, I kept calling the manager back to reschedule but I was always put on hold or I was hung up on. Overall, it was a very negative experience.
