Okta Finance Manager interview questions

Very confused interview process. People were nice and the interviews went fairly smoothly, but there was a lot of confusion in organising the interviews, times were all late evening and there were very long gaps of up to 6 weeks in the process. It became evident the company was unsure who they wanted to hire and I was ultimately told the same, before being told several weeks later they were looking for someone more junior. Frustrating at a personal level; company should understand who/ what they are looking for by the time the HR screening calls are completed.
