I received an email about a first-round interview with the person who emailed me and while I confirmed the time for the interview, I also asked a question about whether the interview will have technical questions. The person who reached out to me, completely ignored my question (which I asked in 2 different emails), and only responded when I confirmed the interview time. The reason I asked was because I wanted to come fully prepared for the first-round interview. In other interviews I don't get asked technical questions, but for others I do. As soon as my interview started, it was on Zoom, but cameras were to stay off. They went straight for the technical questions, didn't even ask me to introduce myself. The questions were basic, and the interviewers seemed really nice, but there was a lack of communication between me and the person I was emailing. I would have come more prepared had I known the context of our interview.
