I applied online and got a call from the manager about a month later. I was a bit surprised at first, having forgotten I had even applied, but I was happy and accepted the interview invitation for two days later. I was told to go to OldNavy.com and print out a complete outfit to bring to the interview. I showed up on my interview day and was taken into the break room, where I waited for about five minutes. Then, the manager came back and sat with me at a table. He had me show him the outfit I put together and tell him why I picked it, what type of person would wear it, and wear they could wear it. Afterwords, he asked me five or six general interview questions, asked about my availability, etc. Then he asked if I had any questions. I asked him what a sales associate would do during a normal day at Old Navy, and he told me about the different areas we could be put in. When I didn't have anymore questions, the manager said he would call me within two days and discuss "where we'd be going from there." In all, the interview took about five-ten minutes. I was pretty confident that I got the job, because of the manager's parting words. When I hadn't received a call two days later, I had second thoughts. However, I did receive a call four days after the interviw, saying I had gotten the job. An orientation day/time was scheduled, and there we go! I am now a sales associate at Old Navy.
