I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Old Navy in Jan 2023
Interview
Was left insulted. And by a lady managing the store who was years YOUNGER than me. She promised to follow me up with a phone call that same day w an answer bc she said she had no reason to not move forward in hiring me. She never called back, so I called back after 3 days to make sure I didn't miss her call on accident. Was put on hold for an hour until she answers to only tell me she forgot, was unapologetic. She made me feel though I was an annoyance by me following up on our interview. She goes on to tell me she has to actually wait to give me an answer so she can talk with her higher up manager on the next day. She said everything looked fine still as far as being able to start orientation process with me and that she wanted to give me her word to be sure to call me the next day no later so she could give me a final clear answer so I wouldn't have to go through waiting an unnecessary amount of time wondering whether or not I got the job or not. She empathized that she thought it is unfair to job seekers to have to wait and wonder after having an interview with her as "hiring manager" for anything longer than a couple days. She said she will notify me whether the answer is yes to hiring me or even if they decide not to . That way I would not be left in the dark. So after her promise to be in touch with me the next day....an entire week passes by. No phone call, no email, no follow up. So I call AGAIN feeling stupid and desperate at this point. She answers to only say, " oh ya Soo.... basically we found someone better than you. So yeah thats why we can't move forward" ..."but have a good day then unless I can help you with anything else?" I said um...well no I guess I understand thanks though sorry to bug you. Then she says, okay. Then literally HANGS UP ON ME. No apologies no explanation no understanding. Just led on to be crapped on.
Easy group interview. Simple questions about fashion, even had to style some outfits. Show up enthusiastic and everything will go well. Be excited and eager to help people + team mates
Easy, Someone called me after I applied to set up interview. I went in and met with the store manager. I only had one interview and offered the next day!
