I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Old Navy in Jan 2009
Interview
After applying online, I received a call from Old Navy asking me to come in for an in-person interview. I went into the store and spoke with one of the managers. After that, a few days later I received a call back and got a second round interview. The interview wasn't very difficult -- they just asked general questions about me and my previous sales experience. They asked a few situational questions such as what I would do if I encountered a difficult customer or if I was having issues with a coworker.

Easy group interview. Simple questions about fashion, even had to style some outfits. Show up enthusiastic and everything will go well. Be excited and eager to help people + team mates
Interview was very professional and a portion was an introduction to the job’s tasks, which I thought was very helpful. Interview was in store and on the sales floor. Interviewer was very personable and friendly.
