Interviewed with 2 people, one from HR and another from the group I woukd be working with. I was not made aware of this beforehand, the HR person made it seem like I was only interviewing with them. The actual interview itself was pretty easy. I was quite a bit over qualified and the person from the group mentioned MULTIPLE times that this was not a role that had much growth within the company or much in-depth R&D work, it was mostly generating data for the other chemists in the group. In the end, I was not given an offer, likely because my asking salary was too high and the role was not a good fit due to my desire to actually perform R&D, deal with customers, and grow within the company.
