I had a first one hour interview in Italian with the HR manager (about myself, experience, education, expectations, salary, etc.) by phone. After 2 weeks I had another interview by phone in English with a manager of the area. They informed me that for many reasons this process was going to be long (the company was buying the division where I was going to work)... I had afetr 3 weeks an HR interview to verify that I speak very well French, English and Italian (the 3 languages were needed for the job position). At the end I had a one hour interview with the Team leader in person, in English. All the process took 3 months. I liked that they were looking to know me very well as a person. Soft skills were as important as other skills. They were going to train me about chemicals, so if I had experience in other industries, it was appreciated but not obbligatory to be an expert in chemicals or to have worked in the chemical industry. I really appreciate that I was a foreign professional and I could be hired thanks to my experience, education, language skills, soft skills, etc. to be in charge of French customers and the French market (even if I was not French). They also considered my diplomas and my master degree to improve my salary.
