I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Montreal, QC) in Oct 2015
Interview
I went through two rounds of interviews. The first round was a behavioural interview and a case interview. The case interview was fairly simple (choosing whether a company should invest in a line of business), and the behavioural interview was very relaxed. There was also a case workshop before that round, which was great. For the final round, I was assigned a buddy to talk to about the interview process, and there was a networking session the night before the interviews. There were 4 parts to the final round interview: a behavioural interview, a case interview, a presentation case (30 minutes to prepare, the a presentation), and a casual Q&A. The case interview, behavioural interview, and the Q&A were all very simple and relaxed. The presentation case was challenging, and several people I talked to failed to come up with a good response to the question in 30 minutes. I was told that I "didn't dig deep enough" when coming up with a solution to the presentation case, which is why I didn't receive an offer.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver Wyman (Sydney) in Mar 2026
Interview
First, we are given an AI interview with questions to answer on video. They only give 45 s to answer questions. Then there was a face-to-face interview, where it is 2 x 45 mins, where it is the same thing with 2 different people on seperate occasions.
First you take an online assessment. There are two rounds. First is one hour: half case, half behavioral. The first round is with younger analysts. Everyone was nice and supportive, also was on zoom.
2 rounds
R1: 30 min case 30 min behavioral. Case and behavioral weren’t difficult and seemed more like a vibe check.
R2: 2 x 30 min cases and 30 min behavioral (this interview was with much mkre Senior leadership)
