As usual, the process began with a phone screen with a recruiter where you're asked general questions based on your background and personality fit. At the end of that call, they provided an overview of the salary range for the position as well as the benefits. They also outlined roughly what the process would be. Next, I met with the hiring manager where we got into the weeds of my creative thinking and experience, in this instance, I did not walk through any previous work. Then, I met with 2 others from the team that I would work with daily. The conversations varied based on the person–one was more of an interview, the other was more of a casual conversation. Next, I was assigned a project wit some flexibility on deadline based on when I was able to present it. The project's scope wasn't vast or unfamiliar, but it did take me a fair bit of time. I presented ~week after being assigned, and walked through the project with the entire team. I thought that was the final round, but somewhat impromptu, I was asked to meet with the CMO as soon as possible. This was a proper interview, getting to the core of my personality, ambitions, and creative thinking. It went well, so almost immediately after the call, I was contacted about scheduling an offer call.
