Interview
There is on average a 2 week waiting time frame just to have your online application acknowledged or to be contacted. I called after week 1. There will be an interview, keep watching your emails. Week 2, spoke with same HR representative, she liked my professional demeanor and initiative. That she was going to send an email to make sure I was on next week's interview schedule which are sent out on Friday's. She mentioned calling back if I still didn't see anything.
Friday at 4:00pm rolls around and nothing again. I take my last and third attempt. Unfortunately another HR associate answers and was rude and very short with me and wouldn't verify if any answer had come back. I am done. I usually get callbacks in 24-48 hours at most.
Most Omni interview reviews state it is a basic 2 week wait, but why and for what reason?? They seem overwhelmed, understaffed, and very disorganized. Not a company I want to be working with. Pass.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Omni Hotels (Fort Worth, TX) in Feb 2016
Interview
Three interviews with HR, F&B Director, and Hotel Manager. Very well done and professional. If you make it past Human resources it is easy sailing from there. Banquets makes the most money but in room dining is the most consistent. Originally I was suppose to work banquets but got offered a position for IRD. Great outcome in my opinion
