      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at OnLogic in Oct 2023

      Interview

I applied via LinkedIn and first met with a recruiter who screened for culture fit, management experience, leadership style, and operational experience with marketing. I then had three 1:1 interviews over the course of a few weeks with the CEO, former VP of Marketing, and the COO to dig deeper in areas of functional expertise and leadership style. In the third round I completed a mini role play with the VP of Sales and VP of Product Management for which they provided a prompt and asked how I would approach a problem (this was fairly informal and gave me excellent insight into the types of challenges I would be facing and how my peer set collaborates to address). Finally, I completed a Manager's Assessment, which is a three to four hour multi-player role play scenario where they test for management style, problem-solving, prioritization, and culture fit. At the conclusion of this assessment, I was offered the job. Throughout the entire process, the hiring team was communicative, clear, fair, and direct in their questions and feedback. I was most impressed by how strongly the team represented their company's culture and emphasized its importance.
