      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Onapsis in Jun 2023

      Interview

My recent experience with the recruitment process at the company was disappointing. Throughout the interview stages with the recruiter, manager, and CTO, I encountered a series of inconsistencies that raised concerns about the company's transparency. One aspect that stood out was the lack of clarity regarding the company's operational locations. This ambiguity added to the confusion during the interview process. In addition to the geographical concerns, I found it challenging to obtain information about important details of the job offer. Queries about the salary range for the Senior Recruiter role were not met with a straightforward response, and discussions about the benefits package were also avoided. This type of closed communication about fundamental employment aspects raises questions about the company's commitment to fostering an open work environment. Another notable inconsistency was the conflicting information about the company's approach to working arrangements. Each of the interviewers presented different accounts of the company's work model - from a hybrid approach to on-site work, remote work, and the expectation of in-office presence when required. These disparities not only caused confusion but also indicated a lack of alignment within the company's leadership regarding the vision for the workplace. In conclusion, my experience with the company was characterized by a lack of clear communication, consistency, and transparency. These qualities are essential for any company, particularly when aiming to attract top-tier talent. I hope that the company takes the opportunity to review its candidate interaction approach and communication practices to establish an environment that values and respects potential employees.
