Phone screen first, followed by a phone conversation with the hiring manager. In-person interviews with members of the team, and then an assignment (related to product strategy) that needed to be presented.
I found the people I spoke with to be very intelligent and engaging. It was hard to know a lot about the industry before the phone conversations, but it was important to show that I could learn quickly and demonstrate an understanding of how the litigation support and legal tech industries operate, before I went in to in-person interviews.
Interviews tend to run a little over schedule, which I took as a positive sign: they really care about who they are hiring and making the best hire.
The interview process covered all aspects of the roll, with different interviewers making dives into different capabilities such as market analysis, user experience, technical knowledge, business/financial cases and roadmap / prioritization.
I also received two case study questions to test my on-the-spot analytic capabilities, which was surprising, but I guess not unusual given the strong management consulting / tech-start-up backgrounds of some interviewers.
