I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OneMain Financial (Myrtle Beach, SC) in Jun 2016
Interview
Applied online, had a phone interview within 2 days and a 1 on 1 interview with the branch manager 2 days later. Interviewed with the district manager 1 week later. Very good communication from corporate and seems to be a very well run company. Many employees have a long tenure. I'm excited to start my new career
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OneMain Financial (Hollywood, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
The interview process consisted of 3 interviews at various locations throughout the area. The 1st is a remote/phone interview where you speak with a recruiter. The district manager and branch manager that I met with were looking for someone who could sell the loan and close the deal. They stressed that it was really important to meet monthly goals. In the end, I did not feel that it was a right fit for me because I could not see myself selling something that I myself would not buy. The company intentionally loans to people with below average credit and follows up with them through collections. The interest rates are higher than that of local banks. The justification given for this was that there are other businesses in the industry who have even higher interest rates. Sure that may be true, but in the end getting a loan from a legitimate bank or having a trustworthy person cosign with you(as a customer) seems like the better alternative.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at OneMain Financial (New Orleans, LA) in Mar 2017
Interview
I applied online, the process took a week and a half, it could have been sooner if I would have checked the email I set up specifically for One Main. I received an email stating that One Main wanted to set up a phone interview, I scheduled the interview for 3 days later. I had a very pleasant phone interview and was told by the recruiter that she would pass my information on to the hiring managers and that I could hear back from her as early as the same day to set up a second interview. I am almost a week in and have not heard anything as of yet. I am praying that I can get on with One Main. Hope this helps.
