First there was a brief phone screening with an HR specialist. Then I was invited for an on-site interview. I interviewed with a total of 6 hiring managers from 6 different teams, 2 interviewers per 30-minute session. Pretty straightforward skill set related questions.

I got a verbal offer that I accepted on spot, didn't think much about getting a written offer as it was my first time going through this kind of interview. I really enjoyed my interview and was very excited to start working, as the interviewer also seemed extremely interested in me working there. They were reaching out to my continuously about my internship over the following week and then I didn't hear from them for two to three weeks and I finally get a response saying they took back my offer because they had over-hired interns. It has left a very negative impression of this company being unprofessional. I now always make sure I have a written offer before assuming I have a job lined up.
