I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at OneTrust (London, England) in Jul 2018
Interview
1. Internal Recruiter contacted me via Linkedin
2. Phone screening (30 min) with internal recruiter
3. Onsite Interview
3.1 Behavioural interview - Lead 1
3.2 10 min presentation around a topic GDPR related (they would provide you the topic in advance so you are expected to do your research beforehand)
3.3 Puzzle + Technical questions
4. Behavioural interview via Webex - Lead 2
Summary Comments
- OneTrust's offices are absolutely amazing - they have the coolest rooftop where you can go and work if you like
- Recruiter is passionate and really cares about the company's growth
- Several people interviewed me during the day and they were all bright, kind, hard-working and motivated individuals
- I didn't accept the job offer due to bad timing and the fact that they only offer 20 days of holidays (a bit less than other start ups that would normally offer around 22 days)
If you love software, change and working on several exciting projects at the same time. I would recommend you to apply (no brainer!), but make sure you are prepared for the presentation as this is key to their hiring process...
Good luck!

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at OneTrust (London, England)
Interview
Online video call meeting followed by face to face presentation with the hiring manger (team lead) of the role.
Presentation of a chosen subject for 10 mins duration.
The next stage was a video interview with the senior management discussing previous employment and suitability to the role. Was more relaxed and general chat more than interview.

Question 1
Tell me about a time that you overcame a challenge at work
My initial interview was with the recruiter and it went really well. He was super keen for me to speak with the hiring manager right away so we organised a second stage interview then and there. My second interview went well, wasn't particularly difficult and we both had a great conversation. Alight, RED FLAG: this was a 4 stage interview process. This is just way too much, even by todays standards. Also WHY was one of the stages a full presentation about a topic of their choice? Stop “BrewDog”ing candidates, and getting them to do free work! The recruiter and manager the ghosted me after my second interview. I emailed the recruiter who said he would follow up and after 3 weeks, nothing! I had a feeling that when I spoke to the manager, he had already made up his mind on a candidate and was just going through the motions. The people seemed friendly but on the whole. Too many stages and bad show for ghosting!
