1. Applied Online. 2. Got an e-mail that they would like to schedule a call. 3. Had a call lasting more than 30 mins (sort of a mini interview). They asked about salary requirements. I demanded a modest pay which they mentioned in comparably lower than the role I am being interviewed for. 4. Few days later, received e-mail from the same recruiter from the company. He said they will consider me for a lower role which has the range of pay I asked for. Bit strange for me, as the role was two levels below than the applied role and lower than even my current employment. 5. I replied back that I am on a senior level and would take senior consultant role if not the lead role. 6. Never heard back from them.
