I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OneTrust (San Jose, CA) in Feb 2024
Interview
Met with 3 of the sales and engineering leaders over the course of a week.
Right off the bat you can get a sense of the culture which seems intense, arrogant, and as one of the interviewers put it, a “Meat Grinder” where they drill you 3x a week on your pipeline and deals. Seems like it’s a high turnover sales org and a sink or swim atmosphere where the top leadership seems very unhelpful and disconnected from reality.

Question 1
What’s the largest deal you closed… (If you don’t say $1M then good luck getting a second interview)
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at OneTrust in Feb 2023
Interview
The interviewer focused primarily on how many shared connections we had. This was a very non-typical sales interview with few questions on prior selling experience or customer engagements. This was a third-round interview with recommendations from multiple direct reports. It was clear this senior leader had made up their mind before or 1 minute into the call.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at OneTrust (Philadelphia, PA) in Jan 2022
Interview
They originally told me they needed to fill a specific role "yesterday", "asap". I was extremely flexible and moved around a lot of meetings to expedite the 5 video conference calls.
The Interview Process was a mess. I am not sure if it was the direct recruiter I worked with or the company as a whole.
During each call, I clarified next steps and what their process was. Each time I was told I was in the offer stage waiting for approvals.
After 3 weeks, I received all 4 approvals from the leadership team and now it was time for the Document and the document approvals..
Another 3-4 weeks go by and was told the final approval was delayed and they weren't sure why. After about a 2-3 month process, I withdrew and accepted a different offer.
Sadly they talk about Trust and how it is in their DNA but they will absolutely say one thing to keep you on the hook and drag their feet while they try and figure it out on the backend.
Don't waste your time, and there are much better opportunities out there.
