Interview
I received an email from a recruiter the same day as my application. We scheduled a phone call and talked for about 30 minutes. She told me my qualifications and experience were a perfect fit and she wanted me to move me to the next round of interviews. On the phone call she asked if I would be available the following day at 3pm to meet with someone on the marketing team. I said that I was, and in response she told me she would send me a meeting invitation.
That meeting was never scheduled and I never heard from her again. 2 weeks after my original call I got an automated email letting me know they’d hired another candidate.
I feel like I dodged a bullet, because this experience left me with a deeply negative first impression of the company and the culture.
