The recruitment process for the QA position consists of the following steps:
1. The first interview happens by phone with the QA Manager and it takes no more than 20min.
* It consists of general questions about your previous job experience and what you've understood about the company and the job offer. In response you will hear more details about the job and you'll have the opportunity to ask any questions you might be interested in. You are likely to be asked about your salary expectations on this interview, don't be surprised.
2. The second interview is done on-site with the QA Manager and members of the Tech team.
* You'll be asked to present yourself to the team. You'll talk about the job in more detail and you'll be asked more specific questions about your previous experience, your specific skills and your expectations about the job and the workflow at OpenClassrooms.
3. The third interview is a meeting with the HR Manager
* You get to talk about your expectations and you can ask any questions connected to the office, the working hours and the benefits. You will be asked about your salary expectations.
4. The fourth interview is a culture fit interview. You get to meet members from other teams.
* They will tell you more about the overall culture of the company, the mission and the company values. They will also tell you about their specific teams and experiences. You'll be asked questions on your expectations. You can also ask questions about the company, the culture, the people and anything else you might be interested in.
5. The last interview is with the CTO.
* You get asked questions about your motivation to work at OpenClassrooms and your professional experience and work ethic. You can ask questions about the company and the team.
6. The final stage before receiving a job offer is giving the HR the contacts of 3 people you've been working with (in order to get some external references): 2 from your managers and 1 from one of your colleagues.
Overall the process consists of many steps but everything is very well organised. For me it took 6 weeks because I had to postpone for 3 weeks to do the on-site interview since I did not live in Paris.
