I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpenGov (Boston, MA) in Mar 2024
Interview
Great process. Everyone I spoke with was excited to be talking to me and passionate about the company! Phone screen with recruiter and then panel interview with 1 manager and 1 SDR. Final round is with the director of sales development.
I participated in a first round virtual interview with recruiter asking basic questions around interest in role type and organization. The next round was supposed to be with the hiring manager and in person.
I applied online. I interviewed at OpenGov in May 2026
Interview
The interview process was organized and communication was clear throughout. The recruiter was very helpful, provided preparation tips, explained what to expect in each stage, and kept me updated along the way. I appreciated the level of support and transparency during the process.
As I moved through the interviews, I realized the role and company culture were not aligned with what I’m looking for at this stage of my career. While it may be a great fit for others, I ultimately felt it wasn't the right match for me, so I wasn't disappointed not to move forward.
Overall, I appreciated the professionalism of everyone involved and the positive experience with the recruiting process.
