I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpenGov in Aug 2024
Interview
I recently went through the interview process at OpenGov, and it was a very smooth and quick experience. The process began with a phone screen interview focused on cultural fit. After that, I had two panel interviews—one focused on coding, and the other on system design. The final interview combined behavioral questions with a small system design challenge.
I thoroughly enjoyed all the interviews. The conversations were engaging, and the interviewers were friendly and approachable, making the experience even more enjoyable. The recruiter was fantastic—responsive, helpful, and supportive throughout the entire process.
Overall, I had a great experience and felt well-supported from start to finish!
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at OpenGov (Boston, MA) in Feb 2026
Interview
I submitted my application then had a recruiter reached out to me and had a recruiter screen (very chill). Then had a behavioral with the hiring manager. The whole process was chill and pretty straightforward.
Questions about Technology stack and experience history. Questions on DSA. Able to answer the questions but had some difficulty in solving the problem. Practise before appearing for the interview. TLDR; good company
