I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at OpenTV (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2015
Interview
Applied online and spoke to a recruiter that day who set up an onsite the following week. Onsite interview was 3 rounds with a total of 5 people, followed by a take-home technical test. I was told test should take 5 hours. Took more like 30 hours. (Checked with a senior dev friend who confirmed 5 hours was an impossible estimate). No response or acknowledgement after submitting the test i.e. no formal rejection just silence. Rude.
