I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Oracle (Prague) in Nov 2020
Interview
They have 2 rounds. First round is with a friendly manager who will ask very simple and basic questions and quick coding task. On second round, they will gather the other managers to interview to ask questions and evaluate.
On second round, they will ask theory and some simple white board coding tasks.
Unfortunately, I wasted my time with Oracle because despite the fact that I answered almost all of their questions correctly and solved 2 coding tasks successfully out of 3, I got rejected.
One thing worth mentioning, Oracle Prague is more like a local company because almost all of their employees are locals or Czechs. Therefore, it is very highly likely that I got rejected because of my nationality. To add insult to the injury, I asked them for a feedback to know my weakness area and they sent to me an email saying that I have poor knowledge in all areas despite the fact that I've been a Dev for 3+ years and worked with international companies. This is a very unexpected behavior from a prestigious company like Oracle to have such management even if it's in Europe.
Overall, the problem with this company is not the coding questions or theory questions but they have attitude problems.
Since as a Dev, I understand the pain other Devs go through on every job search, I'm sharing this review to save other Devs' time.
If you are a Czech, then they might hire you because they act/behave like a Czech company, not like American company that hires people from all over the world and respects diversity.
