I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Oracle in Jan 2020
Interview
1st round - Technical
2nd round - Technical
3rd round - Technical/Manager. More of Generic attitude questions like the reason for the job change, what all technical stuffs have I worked on etc.
4th round - Core technical (US Manager)
5th round - Hiring Director. (Attitude check, Nature of the role to which I am being hired, Compensation discussion)
6th Round - Vice President
All those who interviewed me asked questions from the nooks and corners of the role for which I am being hired. Sensible questions and no out of the role questions. Be it attitude or technical the discussion was realistic and relevant.
The VP round was especially fruitful. I got a rare chance to talk to someone of that level and that too in an interview. The questions by the VP were - What motivates you? How much does money drive you? Why Oracle? What are the cultural changes that a company should look for? What have I worked/working on?
The VP is an extra ordinary gentleman with a great attitude and talent.
I thank all of them who interviewed me from the SME to the VP.
2 rounds of technical - They will ask all the technical questions based on your resume. Quite difficult
1 Manager Round - They will ask technical questions and managerial questions
Interview mostly they will ask the basics but from each and every topic for Oracle DBA like configuration, architecture, RMAN, EXP/IMP, Performance Tuning, RAC, Golden Gate, Exadata and Cloud platform question etc.
There was 2 technical interview and one managerial round. L1 round was with some Java coding using stream and theoretical questions and L2 round was more about the scenario based questions
