Ultimately I declined Organon's offer because it was comically low, including a below industry-average bonus structure. The offer was comically low despite stating my salary expectations up front to HR and despite my ask being well within the range at other companies I interviewed for. It was even lower than my current salary, so a complete non-starter. Organon is a newer company (spun off from Merck) and I suspect they will soon learn that they get what you pay for in terms of talent.
