There were 3 interviews. In the first one, I talked to who would be my manager about my background and skills, and how do those fit the job position. The second interview was more technical: I performed a series of user research tasks in a short time, from planning research activities until communicating the research insights to the Project Manager. The third interview was with a person higher in the hierarchy, and we talked about my background and skills too, but also about higher-level user experience issues. All in all, I think the 3 interviews form a comprehensive and cohesive assessment.
