I had a video call with a recruiter for my first interview. She was very polite. A few days later, on a Friday at 5:05 pm, I got a standard rejection email. I thought this was very rude to start someone's weekend off this way. They couldn't have waited until Monday, during business hours, to let me know the news? Totally apathetic! Glad I dodged a bullet.
