Reached out by recruiter for designer role. Recruiter was overly positive about the role and mentioned flexible, hybrid work schedule. Meeting was then set up to meet with design director and creative director. During the meeting, they both confirmed that this was not a hybrid schedule due to the amount of work that needs to be done daily since the product/sales were suffering. Both seemed uninterested during the entire interaction. One seemed overwhelmed and exhausted by their hectic work schedule. The other kept asking obscure questions that were unrelated to the role. In the end, the interview was awkward and uncomfortable. They both don't know where to take the direction of the company and product.
