Interview
If your resume was selected for review, the hiring process start with a phone interview. If you pass this initial step you will move on to the in-person interview. I would recommend reviewing the product offering at www.pcfinancial.ca They role play a situation where a customer calls in to speak with you as a Personal Banking Representative. Following their success model you will need to Engage, Discover, Advise and then Extend. Therefore you will need to Engage the Client in conversation. Ask questions to learn more (Discover) about the Customer and their individual situation. For example, you could ask if they are working towards specific savings goals or currently paying down debts. Once you uncover a need, you will relate a product offering that suits that need (Advise). For example if a Client is working on saving for retirement you could look into short-term and long-term registered products based on if they would be looking to use the funds for the Home buyers plan or Life long learning plan. Extend the appropriate product offering based on the information you have collected.
