      Sales Representative Interview

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Orange, CT
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I interviewed at PFP (Orange, CT)

      Interview

It was a panel of interviewers from HR and management. They talk about how they claim the ladder and how long with the company I just get the vibes that they just seem very unhappy with their current position. I didn’t feel any enthusiasm. It was very bland and I felt like I was talking to a wall I’m afraid that they don’t know what they really want or what they’re looking for so make sure you ask questions like what exactly are they looking for in this new employee and ask for very specific things because from the questions they ask if I don’t think they know what they want so be careful

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They will ask things like your accomplishments your goals. If you have any university background that ask, why did you pick that type of background they just really dig into your personal life they ask things like how would you handle a difficult clients? How would you close a sale? Do you have any issues closing sales? So your answer better be strategic to their liking so please don’t sound like yourself sound like you’re a ChatGPT

      Sales Representative Interview

      Jul 20, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PFP

      Interview

I met with a recruiter at a job fair and spoke with them about the position. I then had an interview with territory manager, recruiter and another rep who I spoke with at the job fair. They asked basic questions about my job history, etc. they asked if I would like to do a field day with the rep and I agreed. The next day I met with the rep at a credit union to see what a day would be like. They did not exactly sell the job as it is. The job consists of going to different credit unions each day and basically "cold selling " the insurance members of the credit union who walk in, stand in line, etc. the field day was a good opportunity to see what the job would entail and I did not see it as something I could do on a daily basis so I then reached out to the recruiter and said the job was not for me. They do offer a decent base salary though and they told me the details right upfront in the interview.

      Question 1

Where do you see yourself in 5 years , 10 years? How do you deal with hearing no over and over again ?

      Sales Representative Interview

      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PFP

      Interview

The name PFP was not familiar to me. I was contacted by a recruiter who saw my resume on indeed. After speaking to this company representative I was excited and learned more about the company and opportunity which was better than the one I was in. Their process was to complete an application and background information which I did. About a week later I met the hiring manager who was enthusiastic and someone I could picture myself working for. I was invited to see the job kind of like a job shadow where I interacted with customers in a credit union environment. It gave me a chance to see if I would like this type of work. I did! Shortly after an offer was made. I accepted
