Interview
So for this job I was hired then unhired then hired again then unhired. I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off all without any money because clearly I needed a job for that... I’m 20 with a 2 year old and was desperate for a job because it would help me support her especially being that it was a full time position... I was super excited to start the first time I got hired on the spot , I bought my black shoes and pants right away! Mind you for all information pertaining to my position and then not position I had to call them for ALL answers which I think is highly unprofessional but hay it’s whatever they’re about to hire the most dedicated person ever and I was coming for management position to turn a lot of disorganization around! The same day I was interviewed I went for my drug test and got lost so many times because I was in an area I wasn’t really too familiar with, I was told I was going to receive an email that I could only open in the desktop and I wasn’t too close to home so I searched and went to three different libraries until I just went home to open it then on to my drug test voyage I went. I got the drug test done same day .. (whew mission accomplished) I reached home exhausted and wet from the rain. I called the next day and was told I couldn’t move forward because I didn’t pass the test which I wasn’t really paying attention on the test because I hate questionnaires they give me anxiety.. I harmlessly(atleast to me ) called pls customer service number and expressed what had happened and wanted to know if I could do the test over they said they’d get back to me but ended up sending it in as a complaint all while never hearing from them again ...I called the location back and let her know I already got everything for the job was there any way to do the test over she said she’ll see what she could do. So I was instructed to call and when I did I was told I was going to be given a chance because when I retook the test I scored an 80% I was overwhelmed with joy and felt so blessed ,the next day I was instructed to do fingerprints. I woke up extra early the next day and headed to the work site I was there for an hour before they told me I would be doing fingerprints at a different location and I only had $6 on a metro card to go to the work site and then home and it was so nasty and rainy outside and my umbrella ended up breaking... I was wet and freezing cold .I arrived at the fingerprint place downtown Brooklyn and they told me I couldn’t do fingerprints because I didn’t have an appointment , I then called the pls store and she told me to return to the store. When I got there the supervisor apologized for the managers mistake and said the fingerprints would be the next day.. I was On my way! Home when I received a call from the supervisor saying that she set my appointment to the current day and to return to the store I went back to the store and got the appointment paper then returned to the fingerprint place . I got my fingerprints done and returned to the pls store and gave them the receipt for the fingerprints and was told I should start working the following Monday... I called yesterday (12/19/2019) and was told that I could not start working with them because I called the company filing a “complaint “ in which I don’t get how someone in need of a job is gonna call making a complaint I was calling to see if I can still move forward without having to wait 1-3 months to apply again! This is currently me complaining because I was really remaining calm and professional throughout the disorganization only to still be jobless and stressed about how I’m gonna support my daughter

Interview
Easy interview with store manager Jarethzy Amaya. She selected me after a month of the interview date. The store has a toxic work culture sometimes when it's busy. The managers fire you if you are sick during probation period. Beware of some Mexican coworkers there.
