I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PPG in Mar 2012
Interview
Received phone call from gentlleman that was conducting the interview, discussed the basics of the position and was asked if I wanted to schedule face to face interview. Scheduled for two days later, met with person who is to be my supervisor, discussed position more in depth, discussed my qualifications and past work experience, discussed salary and benefits of the position. It was a nice comfortable interview, was also told that company does not notify those not being offered position after initial interview, but was given a reasonable time frame if I did not hear from them, which I appreciated rather than being left to forever wonder. Received phone call with offer and next steps two days later, paperwork via email later in the day. Waited 1 1/2 weeks for background check, drug test results etc to be processed, called once again and first day agreed upon.
I had an initial Phone Screen and Virtual Interview with three people. Very open and friendly. One sales manager and two different types of territory reps. I think they were around a week apart.
