I applied online for the marketing associate position in Beaverton. A few days later I got an invite from the recruiter to come in for an in person interview. No phone screen which I found odd. The interview lasted over an hour and included standard interview questions. Halfway through the interview the president of the office walked in and introduced himself as "the nicest jerk you'll ever meet." Not sure what to make of that. After the interview they had me hand write a personality test....yes hand write! And I underwent a background check. The recruiter assured me I was still being considered. Then I was completely ghosted and the job was reposted. And it's been reposted again and again. I would avoid this company like the plague.

I applied through the company website, and about a week later, was contacted by a recruiter by email asking me to come in for an in-person interview within the next two days. Her email was urgent, but I was excited about the role and happy to make it work. I quickly canceled my afternoon meetings and opened up my calendar so I could meet with her. I emailed back my availability... and heard nothing. I politely followed up the next day, as well as once again the following week. Still no response. Behind "ghosted" on a dating app is one thing, but being "ghosted" by a recruiter who actively reached out to you and requested an interview was incredibly unprofessional. I hope they treat other applicants better than that.
