Alright, so about a month ago I applied for a job at Pacific Sunwear (Pacsun), walked in the store, asked for an application and that exact day I returned back and gave them my resume. It took about 4 weeks for them to accept me into joining a group interview, but before that I called every monday because that's when the hiring manager is in, asking them if interviews were being held yet or if they were still looking applications over. Finally after being patient I got called in for the interview and it went extremely well. The group interview consisted of various questions, but started off as a "Tell me about yourself" kind of situation which I thought was wonderful, she made me feel very confortable. Asking us questions about other clients that we worked with, even though this would be my first job, I related the question to a past experience I had with being the client. It was very laid back, and she wanted me to come back to the store to meet some of the workers afterwards. She said I looked like the type of person that would work there and understood I recognized the company for what it was, brilliant. We both shared a connection almost suddenly about Pacsun. I honestly didn't want the interview to end. It's been a day since the interview and she said she would call me Hopefully Monday to let me know more about the Job. Any advice that I would put out there about an interview is, BE YOURSELF. No question about that, they're not strict unlike other jobs, they want you to feel comfortable with your surroundings. If you really want the job, show them exactly that.
