I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Pacific Sunwear (Anaheim, CA) in Sep 2014
Interview
I applied online and I never heard anything. I then decided to email recruiters and was finally put in contact with the hiring recruiter. We had a phone interview and it went great but I heard nothing from her even when I followed up. She finally called me back regarding another position but she didn't remember me and thought I was a new candidate. She later recognized me from her notes and decided to hold off on another phone interview after I emailed her a few times asking if another phone interview will take place. Weeks went by and I finally got an in person interview with 7 people, a tedious project, and a test. I assumed they must be really interested in me if they were wanting me to meet with several people, do a project (which took me hours) and a test. None of the interviewers explained their position, if I would be working for them, and they didn't know what position I was even interviewing for. All these hoops I jumped through to be told at the end of the math test that I was too "task oriented" for the job but my project was the best one they had seen and wanted to keep it and see if I was interested in a lower position. I feel this entire process was a complete waste of my time and energy since they could have figured out that I was too "task oriented" from my resume. I am very disappointed and I will never apply here again from this experience.
