I was reached out by their Senior Recruiter after applying on LinkedIn.
We had an initial phone interview which went great the role sounded perfect.
Then we scheduled a video interview with the Associate Buyer. Which also went great.
I had asked if there was a time deadline on when they needed to fulfill the role, which they did communicate they were not in a hurry just depending on availability for scheduling interviews.
Did not hear back in a week and half or 2 weeks so I followed up with the recruiter. The recruiter advised me they were still doing first round interviews, but that she would update me within a week and half.
The day came around when she said she would update me but nothing. I understand people can be busy, so I followed up 2 days later but never got a reply.
It’s totally okay if they felt I wasn’t the right fit for the role or decided to move forward with someone else. I wish there was just a denial email. That would of been better than just waiting and waiting to hear back for 6 weeks after my last interview with them. Denial emails are part of the interview process.
I would of rated it a positive experience, but after the video interview there’s was little to no follow up.
