I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at PagerDuty (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2014
Interview
****EMPLOYED CANDIDATES, NOT WORTH THE RISK IT*****
After being aggressively recruited by PD I decided to go in for a informational interview. I shared several Linkedin connections with one of the hiring managers, some of which tied back to my current employer. I verbally requested that everyone involved in the interview process respect my professional privacy and not contact my current employer. After the interview I decided not to pursue PG beyond the initial in-person interviews.
Five months later: I found out from my SVP Sales (still actively employed), that PG contacted him directly for information on me.
The most unprofessional and insensitive recruiting organization I have had the unfortunate pleasure of working with. Complete disregard for candidate privacy and existing employment. Couldve cost me my employment. Damages caused by interviewing with PG damaged my perception with my employer and delayed my promotion. Damages could've been much worse.

What is your approach to sales? What would your client saying about you?....
On behalf of PagerDuty and the recruiting organization, I would like to apologize and state that we will be taking the necessary steps to investigate this situation to its fullest.
