Be prepared to jump through a lot of hoops and pledge an undying love for the company. And even then, your chances are slim. I went through 2 phone interviews and one on-site interview in the NYC office, speaking to 8 different people in the process. A process, that took a month and half. Apparently, the next step would be an interview in the Palo Alto office and speak to many many others there as well. Through all 3 interviews and all 8 people I spoke to, all barely brushed on my resume and experience, and instead chose to try and sell me on the company and ask me questions about why I wanted to work there, and what I loved about the company. Reading the other reviews about Palantir, I was prepared to do some serious butt kissing, but I suppose I didn't do enough because I was not invited to the leg step in the interview process. Everyone I spoke to was nice enough, although 6 people out of 8 people did not review my resume before speaking with me. They all did mention that my experience was exceptional and and I would have no problem with the work. With that said, 2 days after my on-site interview, I received a generic email stating, my "experience did not meet their current needs," (it looked like the same automated response sent to those not asked to interview) despite 8 people telling me otherwise. Frustrated at the lack of feedback, and respect seeing how accommodating I was through all the interview rescheduling they asked for, I emailed my point of contact and asked what I could have done better, where I went wrong, etc. I figured I may as well get something out of this besides a brown nose. I did receive a response to my request...the same generic email. They tout this super cool company reputation and culture when it looks more like a cult. Maybe it's just sour grapes.
