I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies in Nov 2012
Interview
After submitting my resume, I got an email asking when I would be available for a group interview. I showed up along with about 8 other people interviewing for the same position. It seemed as though the only people interviewing me were in their mid 20s. The first thing they showed me was the new keg they had installed in the kitchen. It seemed like they were looking for someone to party with-not do work with. They also emphasized how much they love going to work and that they don't mind putting in 12 hours a day. I never got a courtesy call or email. Instead, I emailed them to ask if there were any updates regarding the interview process, only to be told that I would not be asked back for a second interview. I asked for feedback, but they could not give me any. Overall, the process was not professional, but it seemed to be a fun place to work.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies in Jul 2023
Interview
The interview process took 2 months. They would not provide names or contact info for any of the interviewers ahead of the interviews. The recruiter was pretty timely about following up and updating me throughout the process. The interviewers (there were about 6 people total that participated) were pretty unaligned on the scope, structure, and management of the role. I made it to the end of the process and was told I'd be getting an offer. Then they ghosted.

Question 1
If I wasn't applying for this job, what would I be doing instead.
Questions matched the experience most participants have reported online. I understood that there would be one or two phone interviews, and pending a good fit, a round of on-site interviews.
I applied online. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (Palo Alto, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
Brief and wasn't even told who I was interviewing with. Mostly asked questions that lead me to be it was a fake interview for them to try and figure out how to do things with my expertise. Don't bother interviewing at this dying company.
