This was, by far, the worst interview process I have ever experience and it is very directly because of their Head of Talent Recruitment and Operations. She is flaky, forgetful, and extremely inconsiderate of candidates. I followed each stepped asked of me, and when following up to find out where she was in the process, she would constantly need reminding of who I was and what step we were at. I've interviewed twice for this postion, 6 months apart, and the second time around she didn't remember she had previously interviewed me. She askef me to apply and submit my resume to her by email. I decided to forward her the initial email I had sent 6 months prior to see if it mind jog her memory. This recruiter acted as if she hadn't even noticed the forward on it. She made me start the process over again, which was fine. After the initial interview, she then said she'd move me ahead of the process to a panel interview. I waited patiently and after a couple of weeks, I decided to do a follow up email. She replied with, "We're still working through candidiates, but let's go ahead and schedule an interview for you and I." At that point I had already had 3 interviews with her in that year, and desperate for work I decided to swallow my pride and just get it done. We did another Microsoft Teams video interview, which she conducted like she had never met me before. I still have all of the emails with her to show all of this. At the end of the chat, I asked what would be the next steps and this time she said she'd like for me to talk to "the team focused on CRNA Recruiter" interviews, whatever that means! I waited two more weeks and hadn't heard anything. I followed up again by email, with no response. The last time I attempted to contact her, she finally responded with:
Hi CANDIDATE,
Thanks for following up. We're still interviewing for that recruiter role. Hang tight!
Thanks and Best Regards,
Head of Talent Recruitment Operations
Palm Health Resources
And I never heard from her again. I spent countless hours trying for a role at Palm Health Resources. I had almost a decade of CRNA and Physician recruitment experience, so I know I was a great candidiate for this role. It seems this company has an incredibly high turnover in recruiters, which she stated to me directly. I wouldn't ever take a position there and I don't recommend anyone else do either. Had I gotten an offer, I can only imagine how difficult it would be to work under someone with this kind of chaos.
